Welcome to Scrap Metal Collection ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our scrap metal collection services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Service Description

Scrap Metal Collection provides scrap metal removal services, collecting various types of scrap metal from your property for recycling or disposal. The service is provided at the agreed location and time.

3. Liability

While we take care to ensure that collections are performed professionally and safely, we cannot be held liable for any missing items or damage to any property during the course of our services.

• Missing Items: It is your responsibility to clearly designate which items are to be collected. We will not be responsible for the removal of any items not intended for collection. Ensure that any personal or valuable items are removed or clearly separated from scrap metal prior to collection.

• Property Damage: Although our team takes precautions, Scrap Metal Collection is not responsible for any accidental damage to buildings, driveways, lawns, fences, or other property while carrying out the collection. You agree to release us from any claims related to such occurrences.

4. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your scheduled scrap metal collection, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the agreed collection time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a £25 cancellation fee.

• No-show Fee: If our team arrives at the scheduled time and is unable to collect the scrap due to lack of access or the items not being available, a £25 no-show fee will apply.

5. Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and unobstructed access to the scrap metal for collection. This includes:

• Keeping the access path clear.

• Securing pets away from the work area.

• Ensuring someone is available to grant access, if required.

Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation, and the £25 cancellation fee will apply.

6. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing for our scrap metal collection services varies based on the volume and type of material being collected. You will be informed of any fees before the collection is scheduled.

• Payments for services must be made upon completion of the collection unless agreed otherwise in advance.

• Cancellation Fee: As stated, a £25 fee will apply for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time.

7. Exclusions

Scrap Metal Collection reserves the right to refuse to collect items that do not meet the criteria for scrap metal, such as hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, toxic chemicals). You are responsible for ensuring that the materials for collection are safe and suitable.

8. Service Modifications

We may modify or discontinue our services at any time without prior notice. Any updates to these Terms of Service will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of The United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom.
